NAHB Recognizes Leaders in Residential Construction Safety

Today the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) named the recipients of the 18th annual NAHB/Builders Mutual Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE) for their commitment to exemplary safety and health programs in the residential construction industry. The 2023 SAFE Awards winners were honored at a ceremony held during the 2024 International Builders’ Show.

As the home building industry’s only award recognizing professionals who have made successful efforts to advance safety in the industry, this year’s SAFE program honors individuals and companies that emphasize safety in all forms, including mental health advocacy.

“NAHB is honored to recognize this year’s award winners for their dedication to jobsite safety,” said Tim Ruth, NAHB Construction Safety and Health Committee chairman. “The individuals and organizations recognized today have taken incredible steps to practice and promote safety in our industry.”

“At Builders Mutual, we strive to protect and advance the unique needs of the contractor community, and there is nothing more important to us than promoting a culture of safety on every jobsite,” said Mike Gerber, President and Chief Executive Officer of Builders Mutual. “We are proud to once again be part of this important program and are pleased to be able to honor those leaders in the industry today.”
